Congratulations to all of our Spring semester 2023 CSM award winners. These awards and their winners included:- Kelly Johnson won the Debora-Lu Yepremian Overall Outstanding Student Award and a Psychology Service Award! - Kelly Johnson and Jillian Vander Zwan won Psychology Research Awards! - Taylor McCrossan, Kelly Johnson, Jillian Vander Zwan, and Kaile Wanamaker won Psychology Academic Awards! - Carley Cirafesi won a CSM Graduate Research Award!
Kelly Johnson, a Breit Lab member, is on the board for Students for Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP) at West Chester University. Students for Sensible Drug Policy is a new club and is the first of its kind at West Chester University. They are an advocacy and educational group that places an emphasis on harm reduction, addiction awareness, and the overall safety ofstudents. Congratulations to Katherine Araya on receiving a WCUPA SURI Student Funded Grant of $3,000 during the summer of 2021!
Also, Congratulations to Kayla Zeigler for receiving a WCUPA CARES Student Funding Grant of $500 in 2021! And also for receiving first place for a research presentation (May 2021) at WCU CSM Celebrates!
Congratulations to Kelly Johnson for receiving the West Chester 1871 Award and SRCA Award!
The 1871 Award recognizes high-achieving students who excel in academics, leadership, career readiness, and community engagement. The SRCA Award recognizes students who have completed original research or creative projects in collaboration with a faculty mentor.
We are so proud of Kelly for her amazing accomplishments!
